Roddy Engineering was engaged by Water NSW replace to remove an existing, non-compliant access ladder and handrailing system at Blowering Dam. We were required to design a certified steel suspended platform to replace a section of cut reinforced concrete. A new steel column was installed to ensure the additional weight of the platform and handrail was adequately supported.
