As part of our commitment to meet or exceed the obligations under our ISO 3834 certification, our welders are periodically tested to ensure adherence to the latest procedures and technical standards. Each step of the process is recorded and traceable. However, even the most skilled operators benefit from rigorous verification, which is why hydrostatic pressure testing is one of the key aspects of our suite of empirical tests performed on pressure piping.

As standard procedure we subject each pipe to 1.5x its designated operating pressure to check for leaks, structural deformities, or material flaws. This procedure acts as a controlled stress test, ensuring that the pipe can handle its daily workload with a significant safety margin. It allows us to identify any microscopic imperfections that the naked eye might miss, guaranteeing that the product is structurally sound before it ever leaves our workshop. Every hydrostatic test has the temperature and pressure recorded for the entire test duration, this data is recorded against the date, time and location of the test and a hydrostatic test report is generated and submitted to the client with the requested pressure pipe.

Every pipe is also tested by NATA approved third-party weld inspectors. This non-destructive testing (NDT) confirms the accuracy, quality and integrity of every weld that leaves our workshop. This along with our strict internal quality management procedures ensure any product that leaves our workshop will meet the compliance requirements of our customers.
